Small businesses are the engine that drives America. In an effort to support small businesses, which have taken a heavy blow due to long-term shutdowns related to COVID-19 quarantine, we have set up this on-line group. Our goal is to be a connecting point, a resource, a community for small business owners and individuals who wish to buy, sell, and trade with their fellow Americans.
This page started as we watched local farmers, growers, nurseries — including FFA (Future Farmers of America) groups at near-by high schools — face the problem of selling ag products and food during this pandemic. They got creative, went on-line, and were wildly successful. We started noticing others doing the same thing, and thought: “Wouldn’t it be great if there was a central point, a clearing house …?”
Within every challenge is a golden opportunity. The bigger the challenge, the bigger the opportunity. Necessity is the mother of invention and small businesses owners are the most inventive of all. Give us a problem and we’ll solve it. It may be painful at first, but we’ll dig in and rise to the top like cream.
Maybe in the process we’ll show the world that government isn’t the answer. Calling on God for our own inspiration and our own solutions, then rolling up our sleeves and getting to work serving others, IS.
In our Free Market America Facebook Group you may post what you have to sell or trade and what you are looking to buy or trade. We encourage supporting local businesses, farms, growers, nurseries, and those who offer products and services nationwide.
Be a hero. Buy local. Buy American.
